RADIO PSR (Privater Sächsischer Rundfunk) ging am 1. Juli 1992 als erstes Privatradio in den neuen Bundesländern auf Sendung. Nach mehr als 20 Jahren ist der Familiensender noch immer einer der beliebtesten Radiosender im Freistaat. Im Mittelpunkt des Programms steht die beliebte Morningshow „Die Steffen Lukas-Show“ von 5 bis 10 Uhr. Moderator Steffen Lukas und seine Kolleginnen Kati Huhn, Claudia Switala und Karolin Ficiolka sind das Aushängeschild des Senders. Für Aktionen und Gewinnspiele fahren die Moderatoren durch ganz Sachsen und machen Radio zum Anfassen für Sachsen. 1995 startete Steffen Lukas zudem mit seinen Sinnlos-Telefonaten eine beispiellose Erfolgsgeschichte. Der Name verrät es schon: Mit gnadenlos sinnlosen Telefonaten traktiert das Multitalent mit verstellter Stimme die Sachsen. Bis heute verkaufte er weit über eine Millionen Sinnlos-Telefon CDs. Auch heute noch bringt er die Sachsen dazu, Tränen zu lachen. Nicht zuletzt wegen der grandiosen Sachsensongs – ein weiteres Original von Kultmoderator Steffen Lukas. Am Vormittag begleitet die Moderatorin Peggy Schmidt, bekannt als Miss Peggy, die RADIO PSR-Hörer mit nützlichen Tipps und Tricks rund um das tägliche Leben. Die fröhliche und freche Freddy Holzapfel steht dann am Nachmittag mit Klatsch und Tratsch zur Seite. Musikalisch gibt es bei RADIO PSR jede Menge Hits von Früher, aber auch aktuelle Chartstürmer. RADIO PSR spielt die besten 80er, 90er, 2000er und die Hits von heute. Und: immer fünf Minuten früher informiert mit den Nachrichten! RADIO PSR was the first private radio channel to start broadcasting in Eastern Germany. It went on air on 1st July 1992. More than 20 years later, the family channel is still one of the most popular radio stations in the German state of Saxony. The overall focus of the program is the popular morning show “The Steffen Lukas-Show” from 5:00 am to 10:00 am. Show host Steffen Lukas and his female colleagues are the outstanding characters of RADIO PSR. For actions and competitions the radio presenters are travelling through Saxony and create radio as a hands-on experience. As early as in 1995 Steffen Lukas started an unprecedented success story starring the “Sinnlos-Telefon”. The name says it at all: With mercilessly “senseless” phone calls using a disguised voice the multi-talent makes fun of the person on the other end. He has sold more than one million CDs of the “Sinnlos-Telefon” to date. Even today the Saxons are shedding tears of laughter while listening to his jokes, not least due to the terrific “Sachsensongs” – another original by cult presenter Steffen Lukas. In the late morning Peggy Schmidt, known as Miss Peggy, accompanies the RADIO PSR-listeners with helpful tips and tricks to help them master daily life. The good-humored and cheeky Freddy Holzapfel provides the listeners with gossip and event tips in the afternoon. Musically the program plays current chart breakers in a mix with past hits. RADIO PSR plays the best of 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s and the current hits. And, in addition, the listeners are always a short time ahead of the rest, because all news are presented 5 minutes before the hour!
